NA250
More capacity. More security. More reserve.
The large wet separator for processes involving high material feed rates and the most stringent safety requirements—with built-in capacity to effectively mitigate risks.
The NA250 is a wet separator designed for large volumes of reactive or explosive dusts. A large liquid volume and efficient wetting ensure high safety and long service life. Forced ventilation further enhances operational safety. For safety-critical applications involving high dust generation and demanding processes.

NA250 – Certificates
Large capacity. High security. Ample reserve.
The NA250 is the wet separator for processes where safety margins are critical.
With a liquid capacity of 75 liters, it reliably captures reactive, explosive, or pyrotechnic dusts and significantly extends service life.
Sparks, hot grinding particles, or abrasive media are immediately submerged in liquid and wetted. This mitigates risks early on—before they can damage filters, equipment, or processes.
The result is stable operations, predictable maintenance intervals, and a high degree of process reliability, even with demanding materials.
More reserve, fewer interruptions
- Large capacity for long operating times with continuous material feed.
Safety Through Binding
- The material being sucked up is passed directly under the liquid and neutralized in a controlled manner.
Stable with critical media
- For pyrotechnics, additive manufacturing, metalworking, and specialty processes.

The NA250 operates where risks arise: upstream of the vacuum cleaner. As a wet separator, it captures and neutralizes hazardous dust before it reaches filters, components, or equipment.
This makes it a preventive safety component in the system—not a reaction, but a proactive measure. Processes remain stable, filters are relieved of load, and the service life of downstream equipment is extended.
Neutralized before the filter
- – Provides long-lasting relief for the suction unit and filter.
Passive, but effective
- – No self-contained drive system; easy to integrate.
Grows with the process
- – Can be used temporarily, permanently, or as an upgrade.

Thinking ahead.
At RUWAC, it all starts with a simple question: What do you really need?
Whether it’s a standard model, a modular design, or a custom-built system—we don’t build for the average, but for specific applications. For your processes. Your requirements. Your safety. We make what’s technically feasible a reality. And what doesn’t exist yet, we develop—together with you.
Because when it comes to industrial extraction, we never settle for standard solutions. Only for the best solution.
Strong in the details.
Ruwac wet separators aren’t just made of high-quality components—they’re built on well-thought-out solutions. From the housing to the control system, every detail is designed for durability, safety, and efficiency. For everyone who relies on reliable technology every day.
More volume. More control.

With a liquid capacity of 75 liters, the NA250 offers significantly greater capacity than smaller wet separators. Reactive or explosive dusts are immediately captured in the liquid, where they lose their hazardous potential. The large capacity ensures long service life, reduces replacement intervals, and provides processes with noticeably greater stability—especially during continuous or highly fluctuating material feed. An integrated sight glass allows for clear monitoring of the fill level at all times.
Where sparks land before they become dangerous.

The dip tube, swirl screen, and demister work together as a coordinated system in the NA250. The material being sucked in is directed directly beneath the liquid surface, where air bubbles are systematically broken up and the finest droplets are separated. This reliably neutralizes not only dust but also hot particles, sparks, and abrasive grinding residues—even before they reach downstream components. The result is nearly complete wetting and a high degree of process reliability.
Controlled venting of generated gases.
The binding of reactive substances can lead to the formation of hydrogen. The NA250 is designed to address this scenario: A self-opening valve ensures the controlled venting of any gases produced and prevents excessive pressure or gas buildup in the system. Safety is not monitored here, but rather ensured through the design itself.
Maintenance and emptying without any detours.
Despite its size, the NA250 remains easy to maintain. Its design, which opens on all sides, along with smooth surfaces and easily accessible components, makes cleaning and servicing a breeze. An integrated drain with a ball valve allows for controlled drainage of the liquid without having to move or disassemble the separator. This saves time, reduces exposure, and keeps the process clean—even during routine operations.

Maintenance that goes the extra mile.
Industrial vacuum cleaners have to work—all the time. With over 20 service technicians throughout Germany, we’re there when you need us. In person. Fast. Right on site.
Our experts are highly qualified and know your machine inside and out. They typically carry replacement and wear parts, as well as all necessary tools, right in their vehicles. This allows many problems to be solved immediately—without any waiting time.
RUWAC Service keeps your production running, protects the value of your investment, and extends the service life of your equipment. And with predictable maintenance costs, you retain full control at all times.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
For processes involving high levels of dust and increased risk—such as pyrotechnic applications, additive manufacturing, metal grinding processes, or reactive mixtures.
Reactive, explosive, pyrotechnic, and abrasive dusts, as well as sparks and hot particles, which must be reliably neutralized in liquid.
It extends service life, increases the safety margin, and reduces process interruptions during continuous material feeding.
Yes. It is designed as a pre-separator and can be integrated into existing extraction and vacuum systems without any modifications.
Only when necessary. The NA250 can be optionally equipped with Class M or H residual dust filters if additional safety is required.
