NA7
Safe. Clean. Thoughtfully designed.
Designed for the safe extraction of reactive and explosive dusts: The wet separator traps particles directly in liquid, ensuring controlled safety in sensitive processes.
The NA7 is a compact wet separator designed for the safe extraction of reactive and flammable dusts, such as aluminum or titanium. The wet separation process traps particles directly in liquid, reducing the risk of explosions. A stainless steel housing, dust class H, and safety monitoring ensure reliable protection. For applications where dry extraction is insufficient.

A clean construction site. Risk-free.
The NA7 was specifically designed for applications where safety and cleanliness in the workspace are critical—particularly in additive manufacturing and when handling reactive metal powders. Its wet separation principle immediately binds dust particles in liquid, thereby preventing them from becoming airborne, igniting, or spreading uncontrollably.
Powder residues are specifically captured, completely wetted, and separated as sediment. This reduces explosion risks, protects machinery, and enables controlled, reproducible build volume cleaning. Equipotential bonding, shutdown protection, and downstream residual dust filtration ensure that safety-critical conditions do not arise in the first place.
The NA7 does not view build volume cleaning as a secondary task, but as an integral part of the process—where additive manufacturing ends and safe continued operation begins.
Safe Cleaning of the Construction Site
- Reactive powder residues are immediately bound and removed in a controlled manner.
Wet separator instead of resuspension
- Particles are separated in liquid, not dispersed.
Designed for additive manufacturing
- Designed for sensitive processes, conductive metal powders, and critical materials.

The NA7 is designed not only for reliable separation, but also for what comes next: controlled draining, cleaning, and reuse. The liquid tank, pump, and internal components are designed to be easily accessible, quickly removable, and safe to handle.
The captured particles remain trapped in the liquid throughout the entire process. Liquid can be drained or pumped out in a controlled manner, and sediments can be removed selectively. An optional cart facilitates transport—especially during frequent cleaning cycles or in confined spaces.
This transforms a safety-critical task into a clearly structured, reproducible work step—without improvisation, without unnecessary exposure, and without downtime.
Controlled emptying
- – Drain or pump out liquid – safely and cleanly.
Designed for ease of maintenance
- – Quick access to the tank, pump, and components.
Made for everyday use
- – Optional cart for ergonomic handling.
Built for your application.
The R07 series ensures clean and safe working conditions wherever conductive metal dust and residues from additive manufacturing are generated—right at the source. Whether in selective laser melting (SLM) of aluminum, titanium, or other light metals: The R07 reliably binds the particles in a liquid, minimizes explosion risks, and protects employees and machinery. Efficient, safe, and controlled—for industrial-level wet separators.

After SLM 3D printing, conductive metal dust remains in the process chamber—highly flammable and potentially explosive. The R07 reliably captures these residues: The dust is bound by the liquid in the collection tank and settles as sediment at the bottom. With an integrated equipotential bonding system and filtration according to dust class M or H, the wet separator ensures that even delicate powder residues are safely removed. Result: controlled working conditions and a clean, reusable extraction area.
Strong in the details.
RUWAC wet separators are not makeshift safety solutions, but systematically designed process components. With the NA7, every detail is designed to mitigate risks, monitor conditions, and prevent operator error—especially in environments where reactive metal dusts are a daily occurrence.
Security that brings people together.

The NA7 features a mechanically monitored equipotential bonding system and designated connection points for external devices. Everything that needs to be conductive is reliably connected. This ensures that electrostatic charges are safely dissipated before they become a hazard—a fundamental requirement when handling reactive metal powders. Invisible during operation. Indispensable for the result.
Everything at a glance. Anytime.

The NA7 A’s integrated control system provides a clear overview of the system’s status at all times. Differential pressure, vacuum pressure, liquid level, and operating hours are continuously monitored and clearly displayed. Deviations are detected early on—not only after safety or the process has been compromised. Monitoring is not an afterthought here; it is an integral part of the system.
Measurable safety.

An integrated level sensor monitors the amount of liquid in the collection tank. If the liquid level is too low, the system automatically prevents startup. This ensures that reactive dusts are not extracted without sufficient liquid to bind them. Safety does not come from vigilance—but from clear conditions.
Protection before something happens.

The NA7 can only be operated with the liquid reservoir in place. A mechanical safety flap reliably prevents incorrect operation and unauthorized operating conditions. No software logic, no workarounds, no gray areas. A simple measure—with a big impact in everyday use.
Built for industrial use.

The V2A stainless steel tank is corrosion-resistant, robust, and designed for regular contact with reactive substances. All relevant components are easily accessible, simple to clean, and designed to withstand repeated cleaning cycles. This ensures that the NA7 remains not only safe but also consistently operational.

Frequently Asked Questions
The NA7 is designed for reactive, combustible, and conductive dusts—particularly metal powders such as aluminum, titanium, or magnesium, as well as similar materials used in additive manufacturing. Through a wet separator, these particles are immediately bound in liquid and safely contained.
Reactive metal dusts can be explosive when dry or ignite upon contact with air. The wet separator captures the particles immediately upon entry into the system, thereby preventing the formation of an explosive atmosphere. The NA7 reduces the risk not theoretically, but physically.
The NA7 features multiple safety levels: A mechanical safety flap prevents operation unless the liquid container is in place. On the NA7 A, a liquid level sensor also monitors the liquid level and prevents the machine from starting if the minimum fill level is not reached.
When handling conductive metal dusts, it is essential to prevent electrostatic discharges. The NA7 features a mechanically monitored equipotential bonding system and defined connection options for external components. This ensures that charges are dissipated in a controlled manner and ignition sources are avoided.
Yes. The NA7 was specifically designed for cleaning and post-processing in additive manufacturing. Its airflow design, safety logic, and wet separator are optimized for the typical residues produced by SLM and related processes.
The NA7 is available in an ATEX-certified design variant upon request. When combined with a wet separator, equipotential bonding, and conductive accessories, it meets the requirements for safe use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
The tank, pump, and relevant components are easily accessible and designed for regular cleaning. Liquid can be easily drained or pumped out. An optional cart facilitates transport and handling during operation.
