R10
Compact. Smart. High-performance.
The compact chip vacuum for small quantities and low liquid content—separates chips and liquids in a single step and ensures clean processes in tight machine environments.
The R10 is a compact industrial vacuum designed for chips and liquids in smaller machining processes. It reliably separates fluids, ensuring clean coolants and proper disposal. Its lightweight, robust fiberglass-reinforced plastic housing and optional pump enable flexible use. Ideal for machine areas with manageable volumes and straightforward processes.

Cleanly separated. Cleanly managed.
The R10 is designed to separate chips and liquids right where they are generated—directly at the machine, in a single step. Metal chips are reliably retained in the integrated chip basket, while the liquid is collected separately. This keeps the materials cleanly separated, recyclables recoverable, and work areas tidy.
Especially with smaller volumes containing little liquid, this clear separation ensures structured workflows: less manual rework, shorter cleaning times, and disposal that can be carried out in a logical and controlled manner. The R10 thus supports not only cleanliness but also process discipline in the day-to-day operations of metalworking.
Where necessary, the process can be expanded: With an optional pump, liquids can be drained directly—without altering the basic principle. This keeps the R10 deliberately compact and simple, yet allows it to scale up when the application demands it.
Separation right at the source
- Chips in the basket, liquid separately—no detours.
Designed for small quantities
- Ideal for low liquid content and tight installation spaces.
Clear processes instead of complexity
- Less rework, structured disposal, streamlined processes.

Not every application requires maximum performance. But every application needs the right solution. The R10 follows this principle exactly: It can be tailored precisely to actual needs—with or without an integrated pump.
In the basic version, the R10 collects chips and liquids neatly separated in the container. This is ideal for applications with smaller volumes and low liquid content. Where liquid accumulates more frequently or emptying intervals need to be shortened, the optional pump effectively complements the process: Liquid can be drained during suction without interrupting the operation.
This keeps the system straightforward, manageable, and cost-effective. No unnecessary complexity, no investment in features that aren’t used in daily operations. And if requirements change, the R10 can be tailored to meet them—without deviating from the core concept.
Optional with pump
- – Configured exactly as the application requires.
Stay simple – grow flexibly
- – From compact chip vacuums to advanced solutions.
Streamlined technology, clear processes
- – Less effort, more control in your daily life.
Strong in the details.
RUWAC industrial vacuum cleaners aren’t just a collection of individual parts, but rather a set of integrated solutions. With the R10, this is particularly evident in its combination of compact design, safety, and practicality for everyday use.
Lightweight construction. Durable and sturdy.

The fully conductive GRP housing makes the R10 easy to handle and stable in operation. The glass-fiber-reinforced plastic is dimensionally stable, vacuum-resistant, and corrosion-free. At the same time, the material dissipates electrostatic charges in a controlled manner—for greater safety when handling chips, liquids, and during human-machine contact. A housing that protects not by being heavy—but by being properly engineered.
A well-designed drive system.

The R10 is powered by a RUWAC-designed drive system engineered for consistent performance and a long service life. The fan, developed in-house, can be replaced separately if necessary. This ensures predictable maintenance, minimal downtime, and a long service life for the unit. It’s not a disposable product, but a system designed for repairability and sustainability.
Automatic protection against over-suction.

A built-in float reliably monitors the liquid level. As soon as the maximum liquid level is reached, the suction flow is automatically interrupted. This protects the drive and filter—without the need for additional sensors or operator intervention. Safety that works in the background and makes everyday life easier.

Maintenance that goes the extra mile.
Industrial vacuum cleaners have to work—all the time. With over 20 service technicians throughout Germany, we’re there when you need us. In person. Fast. Right on site.

From explosion protection to health and sustainability to fast on-site service: at RUWAC, safety means you can rely on everything. And on everyone.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
The R10 is designed for smaller volumes of chips with a low liquid content. It is ideal for machining centers where chips and coolant are generated together, but where large volumes or continuous loads—as seen with the R11—are not expected.
The R10 is more compact and designed for smaller volumes. It reliably separates chips and liquids, but deliberately forgoes the high throughput and continuous-duty capacity of the R11. This makes it the ideal solution for tight production lines and smaller applications where efficiency and space requirements are paramount.
Yes. The R10 is available with or without an integrated pump. Without the pump, liquids are collected in the tank; with the pump, they can be drained directly. This allows the R10 to be configured precisely to meet actual needs—without unnecessary technology.
An integrated float monitors the liquid level in the tank. When the maximum liquid level is reached, it automatically interrupts the suction flow. This reliably protects the drive and filter without requiring operator intervention.
The fully conductive GRP housing is lightweight, dimensionally stable, and corrosion-resistant. It prevents electrostatic buildup and discharge, reduces weight, and makes handling easier in daily use—especially in situations where the vacuum cleaner is frequently moved.
